VXI Technology is certified to BS EN ISO-9001:2000 standards and manufactures high-density modular instruments for automated electronic and mechanical test applications. All products are designed using “modular building block” techniques, allowing our customers to create scalable system solutions. These products are used worldwide by virtually every major electronics manufacturer/supplier and test facility, as well as government defense agencies. With well over two hundred products, ranging from low-level signal analysis to 40 GHz microwave and optical solutions, both system integrators and end-users have come to respect the quality and support behind these products.
Being a leading supplier in test, all products carrying the VXI Technology name undergo stringent checks, which include board level, full functional test, and burn-in for at least 72 hours before shipment. All products are serialized and a history of all test results is maintained, allowing us to continually monitor all levels of manufacturing. |

RoHS Statement |
In 2004, the European Union passed EU Directive 2002/95/EC, commonly referred to as the Restrictions on the user of certain Hazardous Substances directive or RoHS. This directive prohibits the use of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium (Cr6+), polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), or polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) in “new electrical and electronic equipment put on the market after July 1st, 2006. This directive classifies electronic equipment into ten categories, two of which are exempt from the scope of this directive: Category 8 (medical devices) and Category 9 (monitoring and control instruments). Additionally, the use of lead in solders for servers, storage, and storage array systems has been granted an exemption until 2010. The importance of reliability in these devices is readily apparent. With the dependability of lead-free solders in question, these exceptions are easily understood.
As a manufacturer of automated test equipment, VXI Technology, Inc. products are Category 9 monitoring and control instruments and are exempt from the RoHS directive. Notwithstanding the exemption, VXI Technology, Inc. recognizes the importance of this directive and is transitioning toward RoHS-compliance as more reliable lead-free technologies become available. We will continue to work with our suppliers in order to develop products that deliver reliable performance while making a minimal impact on the environment. |
